Best Rise of Kingdoms Unique Units Guide for Beginners

Each civilization in Rise of Kingdoms comes with its traits and unique troops, which unlocks throughout ages. In this particular, each civilization has a special troop that becomes available at Tier 4 / Tier 5 and often has better stats than a regular unit.

In this guide, we will talk about each civilization’s unique unit, mainly what they look like, their stats, and how you can benefit the most using them in your armies.

Before we get to the details in this guide, you shouldn’t be choosing your civilization based on these troops alone. Traits are also a big part of the game that affects how you play your game at maximum level.

Also, keep in your mind that all unique units become available at Tier 4. Which most likely means a majority of the player base will never get the opportunity to unlock them — or eventually open them after playing a ton of time.

To unlock Tier 4 troops, you will have to have City Hall at Level 21 with Academy matching at that level. The time it takes to research technology for each unit is approximately 30 days (1 Month) in real-time.

In other words, there’s real-end game stuff and the time it takes to research all Tier 4 troops isn’t quite that important as you thought in Rise of Kingdoms. Many players unlock their unique unit first upon reaching Tier 4 and primarily stick to one troop-type army in combination with the support of their allies.

It also means the governors should join one of these top alliances since you will need them to work together to build a diversified force.

So, if you aren’t sure which civilization to pick, then I suggest choosing one that offers the best commander and general boost, not just a unique troop. For starters, here are some civilizations and commanders that I recommended investing your time in:
