In Rise of Kingdoms, all players will go through five different ages which defines a period of city development, technology advancements, and strengthening economic power. Ages do not play a significant role in Rise of Kingdoms, though they are a way to introduce a new set of units, technology, and expand your city size to allow more buildings.
Currently there’s 5 ages in Rise of Kingdoms that all players will go through:
- Stone Age: Starting Age
- Bronze Age: Upgrading your City Hall level from 3 to 4.
- Iron Age: Upgrading your City Hall level from 9 to 10.
- Dark Age: Upgrading your City Hall level from 15 to 16.
- Feudal Age: Upgrading your City Hall level from 20 to 21.
Upon reaching Feudal Age, your goal will be to research and train Tier 5 troops as fast as you can. We created in-depth guides on how to power up yourself, including leveling up your commanders fast to stay ahead of the curve.
Though, advancing through ages in Rise of Kingdoms depends on how fast you upgrade your City Hall. Be sure to check out these guides to learn more about powering up fast in the game. You also can visit our troops page to see what unique unit you will unlock at Dark Age and Feudal Age.
