Welcome to our guide: How to Use Kingdom Map in Rise of Kingdoms. If you have been scouting in your kingdom, chances are that you probably have a few Kingdom Maps in your inventory tab.
Before you activate your Kingdom Map, I am going to explain what this item exactly does and why you should hold it off until late game.
Throughout the game, your scouts will explore the hidden area in your kingdom.
Occasionally, they will discover mysterious caves and tribal villages, which you can explore further for secret treasures and collect gifts, respectively.
Sometimes when you get the treasures and gifts, you will get a rare item called Kingdom Map. As I mentioned before, make sure you save all of them until you explore most of the map, first.

The Kingdom Map clears 10 x 10 area whenever it is used.
How to Get Kingdom Map
You can get Kingdom Map via:
- Village Tribes
- Low-Level Cave Chests
- Medium-Level Cave Chests
- High-Level Cave Chests
- Sliver & Golden Chests
- VIP Store

One of the biggest advantage that the Kingdom Map has to offer is clearing off the remaining fog on the map.
It’s highly recommended that you hold on to these Kingdom Maps because when all the fog has been cleared, you will get 5-minutes Universal Speedups in exchange of Kingdom Map.
It is incredible useful when it comes to upgrading important buildings such as Castle to level 25, which you need Book of Covenants to do that.
Though, you are free to use the Kingdom Map if you want to clear off the fog early in the game. Many experienced Rise of Kingdoms players, including free-to-play players will tell you to hold on to them.

In conclusion, the Kingdom Map is a handy item in Rise of Kingdoms. You can choose what you want to do with it: to clear fog or convert them into speedups for your main account progression.
If you utilize these scouting techniques, you probably will not need to use Kingdom Map. But, of course, there will be some hard-to-reach areas where you will need to use Kingdom Map once or twice.
In the Monument, if you managed to explore all the fog on your kingdom. Then you will get fantastic rewards, including gems that you can use to rush to VIP 6 and above.
So, you should also keep it in your mind while exploring the hidden areas on the map. Lastly, if you are playing Rise of Kingdoms on your phone or tablet, I recommend playing the game on the computer.
