How to Save Your Game & Continuing On A Different Device in Rise of Kingdoms
Did you know that you can save your game and continue on a different device in Rise of Kingdoms? In fact, doing so is incredibly easy and I am going to talk about how to save your current progress and continue on a different device.
This method works if you are playing Rise of Kingdoms on an Android device and want to switch to a different Android device. Which works as long as you remain on the same platform, in the other words, Android to Android and iOS to iOS.
Unfortunately, it isn’t possible to continue your current game progress on a cross-platform such as Android to iOS and iOS to Android. However, it’s something that we hope the game developers of Rise of Kingdoms plans to implement cross-platform functionality in the future.
To save your current game progress and continue playing Rise of Kingdoms on your brand new device. You will have to prepare in advance. If you uninstall the game or start new on your other device, it might not be possible for you to pick up where you left.
So, to do this the right way you will have to follow these step-by-step instructional guide on how to save your current game progress and continuing on a new device:
- On your device, tap your character’s portrait icon in the upper left corner.
- Tap the Settings button which will bring a new window, tap on Account.
- You will have the option to link your account to either Facebook or Google.
- Pick either and double check to confirm your account has been linked.
- After your account has been linked successfully, quit the game and install Rise of Kingdoms on your new device.
Follow the same steps above by going to the Account, instead of linking, use switch and pick your Facebook or Google Account. The game will reload your progress on your new device.
Friendly Tip: You do not have to go through the tutorial again. This can be done via civilization selection screen and tap on the options in the upper right corner to link your previous account.
This feature introducing the ability to seamless switch to your previous account on a new device was made available in July 2019. Which is a huge quality of life improvement especially for hardcore and players who wish to continue their game progress.
