Tricks & Tips
Food is one of the most critical resources in the Rise of Kingdoms. Without food, you can’t train troops, upgrade buildings and construct new buildings. Therefore, it is always essential to have plenty of food.
There are several ways you can get more food and stockpile on them whenever you need to perform significant upgrades or queue orders.
The easiest way to get more food in Rise of Kingdoms is to farm high-level resource spots or RSS. The maximum level for a Food resource spot is Level 6 — located in the very middle of your kingdom.
You can reach the middle of the kingdom by traversing through the passes within each zone. Therefore, always aim to farm high-level RSS as they give a higher return on investment.
Alternatively, you can start your mini farming account to help progress your main account. Create a mini farming account on the same server and begin drawing resources.
Several experienced Rise of Kingdoms players has at least 4 to 5 farming accounts. If you play Rise of Kingdoms on PC, you can easily switch to your farming account without having to log out at all.
Here are recommended peacekeeping commanders to maximize your barbarian farming methods:
Do Daily Quests
Always do daily quests as they give out a small number of resource bonuses. Another way you can earn a quick boost to your resources stockpile is by doing the quests. You can do the same thing for wood, stone, and gold.
You will need to make a good habit of doing daily quests to earn speedups, resources, and a load of items. Later on, in Rise of Kingdoms, you will have plenty of resource items in advance of your first KVK season.
Claim Alliance Resources
Suppose you join one of the top alliances and have alliance resource spots under your alliance’s control. They will passively generate resources that you can claim via territory –> claim resources.
Also, your alliances can construct alliance resources centers such as Granary, for instance. Prioritize farming them as you can bring in a lot of resources per trip. Plus, your alliance will get bonus resources on top of it that contribute to much faster growth.
Conclusion of How to Get More Food Fast
As you grow over time, you will never want to find yourself in a position where you don’t have food to support further city development and training troops.
You can alleviate your food shortage with one or two mini farming accounts up and running. Take advantage of completing quests and events daily to maximize your rewards.
Kill barbarians, especially high-level ones, so that you can make better use of your action points. At the same time, you will level up your commanders and grow in power fast thanks to high experience gain.
