Welcome to our Rise of Kingdoms Commander Sculptures and Skill Upgrades guide. Before we dive into the details, I want to briefly explain what the commander sculptures are for and how they can be used to help your commanders grow stronger.
The commander sculptures usually are used to summon new commanders and to upgrade their skills. They also can be used to upgrade the commander stars but it is not recommended in any situations.
It costs 10 commander sculptures to summon a new commander. Afterwards, the cost to upgrade skills of a commander increases with each rank. Fortunately, getting sculptures is very easy. They can be obtained via Silver Chest and Golden Chest. It is highly recommended that you join a top alliance so that you can reap in the benefits of free silver keys and golden keys from whales.
There are two types of Commander Sculptures:
- Specific Commander Sculpture (i.e Sun Tzu Sculpture, Julius Caesar Sculpture)
- Universal Sculptures (which you can exchange for any specific commander sculpture)

How to Get More Commander Sculptures

If you are a free player like me who doesn’t want to spend hard-earned money on buying chests, keys and other goodies. There are several ways to get more commander sculptures but these require you to do things like farming, upgrading your buildings and completing the quests. Below is how you can get more commander sculptures as a F2P player:
- Be in a top alliance where the whales are.
- Do quests and complete them.
- Complete expeditions.
- Open daily chests.
- Participate in the events.
But if you are a whale and you want to spend more money on getting these commander sculptures. VIP Shop is the best spot to scourge for specific commanders that you want to summon and skill upgrades into them.
Important Game Tips for Commanders Sculptures

Before you use any of these sculptures to your commanders. I highly recommend holding on to them for a while, most likely two to three weeks at the beginning of your game. This gives you the opportunity to see how the game rolls for you and gives you a good starting point to use your commander sculptures.
I suggest picking one commander you want to work with and stick on power leveling the commander until you max him / her out. Use the Star Trick to expend less Starlight Sculptures so that you can max the commanders out in less time.
A high-level commander is way much more valuable compared to a low level commander. Because they are able to progress further in the Expedition Mode, do more stages via Karauk Ceremony and even will help you win tough battles in both Ian’s Ballads and Ceroli Crisis. This is one of the best ways to grow your total power fast.
Many players spend their commander sculptures immediately without seeing the whole picture first and that’s one of the early game mistakes they make. Sometimes they aren’t so lucky and get stuck with a low-level commander for a while. You can avoid that by taking time to stack your commander sculptures and seeing where to go so that you can max it out in a few weeks.
