How to Teleport to The Lost Kingdom Map?

In order to enter The Lost Kingdom map, your alliance needs to control the Lost Temple. Without the Lost Temple under your alliance territory, you won’t be able to teleport to The Lost Kingdom map.
As soon as the Kingdoms vs Kingdoms (KvK) starts, you will be able to see a small castle icon on the upper right corner of the screen (Past Glory). This will let you teleport into The Lost Kingdom and start a new event that your alliance and you must work together.
Tap on the teleport button and a confirmation window will pop up on your game screen. It will tell you which region your city is going to teleport to. All kingdoms will have their own region to start at the beginning of the event.
The game will restart and you will respawn at a random location within your kingdom’s region as mentioned above. You also can see the Events at the upper right corner. They usually are packed with a lot of advanced and interesting stuff for you to do, plus awesome rewards to earn!
What is Honor Roll?
Some of you probably already know what Honor Roll is, but for new players who just started playing Rise of Kingdoms will find this information useful and helpful. Honor Roll basically is a contributor system just like Alliance Contribution system where you donate your resources to your alliance technologies.
Honor Roll comes with three categories which are based on the rankings of individual, alliance and kingdom. This is a way to measure how well players, alliances and kingdoms are performing against each other.
Honor Roll is a Contributor System based on rankings of:
- Individual Ranking
- Alliance Ranking
- Kingdom Ranking
It will reveal the top contributors in The Lost Kingdom for those who got the most points by performing various activities as following:
Honor Points | Activity |
5 | Defeat Level 26-30 Barbarians |
8 | Defeat Level 31-35 Barbarians |
10 | Defeat Level 36-40 Barbarians |
3 | Completing gathering at a resource point |
15 | Destroy a Level 6 Barbarian Fort |
25 | Destroy a Level 7 Barbarian Fort |
35 | Destroy a Level 8 Barbarian Fort |
45 | Destroy a Level 9 Barbarian Fort |
60 | Destroy a Level 10 Barbarian Fort |
Individual Ranking

The individual ranking is based on each governors’ ability to earn Honor Points. Governor with the highest honor points will become the top contributors in The Lost Kingdom. Bonus tip, if you manage to do continuous occupation of an ancient ruins / altar of darkness, you will get more honor points.
Alliance Ranking

The alliance ranking is based on all governors’ honor points within a specific alliance. Work together to quickly gain a lot of honor points. The top 50 alliances will get a lot of rewards by simply doing these activities as mentioned above. Additionally, your alliance can get a lot of honor points by controlling:
- The first occupation of a holy site.
- Continual occupation of a holy site or pass.
- Continual occupation of ancient ruins or altar of darkness.
Kingdom Ranking

The kingdom ranking is based on each kingdom’s ability to get the honor points. All of alliances that comes from a specific kingdom will add each honor points into under a single kingdom. Compete with other 7 kingdoms to get amazing rewards from the event.
Crusader Achievements

The Crusader Achievements is the place where governors, alliances and kingdoms can get tons of rewards by doing the achievements in The Lost Kingdom map. Be sure to do them as it definitely will help you power level your commanders and grow your total power!
Twilight

Twilight is known as The Lost Kingdom Chronicles that works just like Monument in your home kingdom. It can be found right in your city and gives you a rough idea of each event’s objective, duration and progression. You also can get rewards if your kingdom manages to be successful. Plus, Twilight can help you know what’s going to happen in advance.
Past Glory
There’s also several events within The Lost Kingdom map itself and it is called Past Glory. It is a multi-stages event that’s exclusive to The Lost Kingdom only! Your kingdom, alliances and yourself needs to donate resources, kill barbarians and donate your commander sculptures to get rebuilding points and ton of rewards.
- Stage 1: Donate your resources.
- Stage 2: Kill barbarians and forts.
- Stage 3: Donate your commander sculptures.
How to Prepare for KvK Seasons
For new players this can be quite overwhelming as you will fight with some of the strongest players in the game. Though, as a F2P player you can take actionable steps and do these to strengthen your position.
Save Buff Items

One of the easiest thing you can do right now is start saving buff items. Ideally, you will want to save important items like:
- Peace Shields (To protect you while sleeping or in dangerous areas).
- Attack / Defense buffs like runes.
- Troop Expansions for more capacity.
- Teleports to move around quickly on the battlefield.
You can easily buy all of these items via the Mysterious Merchants. I recommend you to start buying them at least a few weeks in advance before the KvK event starts. They will be incredible useful and you will find yourself in times where you need to be able to take advantage of these buffs.
The teleports do cost gems, so I recommend you to buy them only if you can afford. Though, I suggest you to focus on getting Tier 5 troops first before you can start spending your gems on other items. If you do win KvK battles, you will get ton of gems from the rewards.
To increase your chance of seeing the Mysterious Merchants more frequently, you will need to train troops for a few hours, upgrade buildings, and research technologies in order for her to become available. Furthermore, she appears at the daily reset.
Upgrade Hospitals

Secondly, you need to max out your hospitals. If you can’t, then try to upgrade them as much as you can before the KvK war breaks out. Before the war starts, there’s an event that rewards you for powering up and upgrading your buildings. Which is a good way to recoup some of your resources spending.
Though, you will want to make sure you have enough space to heal your injured troops because during the KvK war, you will get hit really hard and players will not stop attacking you until your city burns down. If your hospitals is at maximum capacity, then all of your remaining troops will be killed.
Save Resources

Furthermore, you should start saving resources at least a few weeks before the KvK event start. I don’t recommend you to spend your resources on upgrading buildings that is not important to you. Instead, you should upgrade hospitals and train troops as much as you can.
Mainly because during the war, healing your troops will become quite costly and it will burn your resources fast. You will not have the time to farm resources in middle of the war, which adds another layer of challenge.
As a general advice for all players who is participating in the KvK event, always save at least plenty of resources to support your war efforts.
Max Out Commanders
Another important game tip to prepare you for the KvK event is to max out your commanders. If by any chance you have been saving XP books, sculptures and such. You will want to spend them on your best and powerful commanders before the war begins.
This is the right time to use your XP books and sculptures because you save them to make one of your best commanders stronger. Though, if you do have a reason not to use them especially getting Yi Seong-Gye or Guan Yu from the Wheel of Fortune and the Mightiest Governor.
Make sure to max out your commanders in order to dispatch as much as you can. (Learn how to power level your commanders and grow your overall power fast).
Wear Equipment
Some players don’t take advantage of equipping their commanders with gears. This is by far one of the easiest and most effective way to strengthen your commanders’ power and combat potential. One secret trick to transform you from losing to winning a battle is to forge a gear with Special Talent Effect Equipment like this:

If you happen to have several blueprints of any equipment, you should re-forge them until you get to activate the special talent assigned by the equipment. Once you unlock the special talent, you can pick any type of buff that you would like to add for your commander.

Though, the chance of unlocking the special talent effect on equipment is quite low. So you will need to craft the equipment at least a few time until you get it. This will cost you some gold and blueprints but it’s always worth getting the special talent because having multiple of them will greatly improve your commander’s army power.
Farm Guardians
Lastly, you should farm guardians on daily basis. In fact, you can do it twice a day at 00:08 UTC and 12:08 UTC. Make sure to do this with many marches as you can with your peacekeeping commanders to gain more experience.
In the Lost Kingdom events, they do have similar structures such as the Lost Temple. Do farm these guardians for experience as well.
1. Not Farming Individual Points Effectively

One of the biggest KvK mistakes you can make is not farming individual points effectively. This is common because a lot of new players start farming barbarians that are level 26 – 30. They don’t give that much points at all and you end up wasting your action points.
Converse your action points and start hitting once the barbarians spawns between 31 to 35. Also be sure to take advantage of the chain-farming method to extend your action points. Aethelflaed, Baibars and any peacekeeping commanders paired with commanders who have strong AoE skills will do quick work out of them.
Eventually, the Barbarian Forts will start to generate more points value per action points. I highly recommend dispatching your armies once the Barbarian Forts reaches level 8 and higher to get more return from spending your action points.
Whenever you are recovering your action points, send at least some of your armies to gather resources. You definitely will need tons of resources to prepare for massive wars to sustain against the enemy kingdom. Always keep sending out your gathering commanders.
Additionally, your alliance needs to participate and capture Ruins and Altar of Darkness in order to earn individual points. Not only will you also earn individual points for yourself, but gain alliance points that will help propel both your individual ranking and alliance ranking.
2. Not Farming Alliance Honor Effectively

Another KvK mistake you can make is not farming alliance honor effectively. You need to communicate with each alliance within your kingdom. Figure it out with your alliance on which to dump the honor points rewards from capturing the holy sites for the first time.
If two alliances happen to come from your kingdom. Communicate to split the rewards based on ranking. Some players made a mistake by joining another alliance in their kingdom, claiming rewards and not returning to their hold alliance to also claim the alliance honor points.
Not only does it hurt their alliance points, but also hurts the player in the progression. Therefore, it is your responsibility to make sure you take advantage of it by claiming. Players, including you in your kingdoms, need to focus on sandbagging one or two alliances within your region to take advantage of the rewards.
Think about this, is it better for few to benefit in your kingdom or none at all while other kingdoms get stronger?
3. Not Taking Diplomatic Approach

In The Lost Kingdom, you definitely will need to work with other kingdoms. I hate to say this, but you do need them because in the Crusader Achievements, you need to capture Crusader Camps from other kingdoms.
There are two ways to do this: capture it by force or you can do it diplomatically. Sometimes you do end up with a kingdom who have sheer numbers and activity but lack diplomacy.
An unified kingdom with strong diplomacy always ends up being stronger than waging wars against opponents. Taking a diplomatic approach is the best cure to protecting your kingdom’s interest and others’ interest as well.
4. Not Cooperating With Alliances
This is especially very important in Kingdom versus Kingdom battles. It is one of the hardest and most challenging things to do. But you can solve it by building relationships with other alliances early in the beginning of the game in your home kingdom.
Show other alliances that you support them. In return, they will show you their support. Make sure to rotate officers and leaders to maintain online status and to continue growing relationships with other players in the home kingdom.
This is how many successful kingdoms rise to power through cooperating with alliances and doing it diplomatically. Make a lot of friends, less enemies and more power to all of you! As I quote a famous phrase: keep your friends close, but your enemies closer.
5. Not Using Voice Chat
Having a voice chat is pretty much mandatory for playing KvK battles. Voice tools like Whatsapp / Discord and even Mumble are pretty good. They are used to summon players when there are incoming wars so that you can jump into action right away.
The value of having voice tools is being able to communicate and deliver orders in real-time. Plus, you do get to talk with real people and sometimes you get to learn other country’s languages. This is an awesome way to make new friends!
Personally, I am an English speaker but I used to be in a few Russian-speaking alliances and got to learn quite a bit of their Cyrillic language. So, I do highly recommend using the voice chat as you get to interact with people in a digital world and probably get to meet them in person sometimes!
6. Not Preparing Against Block Strategy

This is one of the most annoying, yet an effective and smart strategy that prevents opponents from building a flag to capture the pass. Opponents do this by placing the city next to the pass which prevented any alliances from building the flag.
Thus, the alliance who wanted to capture the pass would have to attack the city and burn it down so that they can teleport randomly anywhere else. The Pass Block strategy is an effective method used to delay incoming wars between the kingdoms.
7. No Bank Accounts

First of all, a Bank Account is where your alliance can pool in resources by dispatching to a player who is acting as a bank account. The idea of having a bank account is to supply players during the war.
Some players transformed their mini farming accounts into bank accounts to be able to provide support to players whenever they need help. Just simply send resources to players who need help in a manner that will not deplete the bank accounts quickly.
Here’s a general bank rules to run it successfully:
- Donate at least 200K resources / day.
- Request for resources for healing / upgrade up to 50% of the cost.
- Submit coordinates and teleport closer. (In this case, you will be the one who is teleporting)
8. Not Having Teleports
Again, this is easily one of the worst KvK mistakes you can ever make in Rise of Kingdoms. Whenever you are joining in the wars, you need to have at least a couple or three teleports. You can buy more via your Alliance Shop and grab the Territorial Teleport since it is cheaper to buy.
Before you go offline, make sure to teleport out of the war zone. Oftentimes, players would just station their cities in the war zones and only come on to see their alliance flags burned down. Which is an indication that they are going to get zero.
So, buy at least a few teleports from your Alliance Shop. If you don’t see any, ask your leader or officers to restock them. It is also worth buying a few peace shields if you plan to stay in the war zone for a bit longer and will return to the game after resting or sleeping.
9. Not Following Alliance Instructions

A lot of players in Rise of Kingdoms don’t follow what the markers tell them to do. This is one of the main reasons why some top alliances collapsed because the players aren’t willing to do them. Hence, the refusal to cooperate.
You can check to see what kind of markers your alliance has left by navigating to the star icon next to your governor profile. Tap on it to view the markers on the map. Alternatively, you can check it via your alliance mails to view.
10. Not Knowing What Troops to Send
One of common mistakes in KvK is not knowing what troops to send for rallying armies. A lot of players simply ignore the direction of what troops to send specifically. This is a game mistake you should avoid making.
I think the majority of the players do not actually understand how commanders work in Rise of Kingdoms. If they say send archers only, it is because that specific commander gives major attack, defense, march speed, and health bonus to archers only.
You definitely will want to make the most use out of it. And the advantage of doing this is reducing casualties, doing more damage and improving your alliance’s overall combat effectiveness. So make sure you know what troops you are sending.
Here’s a few guides to help you get started:
Best commanders for commanding specific troops:
11. Not Setting Power Expectations
Another fatal mistake is not prioritizing your alliance’s power expectations. This is another KvK mistake you will want to avoid making before entering The Lost Kingdom. Because the power expectations are much higher in The Lost Kingdom, you need to set expectations for your alliance members to grow.
Most players start entering The Lost Kingdom when they are roughly at 5 to 6 million power or when they have T4 troops. If you enter the map with T3 and a relative low power, you will struggle to succeed in the game. Therefore, always set a power expectation to promote growth and if your alliance members can’t reach the goal, delegate them to a farming alliance.
You can quickly grow your power via following these guides:
12. Not Having Fun

All in seriousness, having fun in KvK battle is a must-have trait. Sure, it can get quite competitive sometimes when you are putting up against gargantuan players from other kingdoms. But through working together with alliances and other players in various regions, it is possible to take down even the mightiest kingdom in The Lost Kingdom.
Make sure you follow these tips during the KvK battles. Communicate with your alliance members, follow the instructions, set expectations, send the right troops, have a voice tool to respond quickly in-game and have a bank account (it can be for your entire alliance or your personal account).
That’s all governors, I hope you found these top 12 KvK mistakes helpful and useful. Don’t be like that guy who makes mistakes. In the end, it will cost you time, power and reputation. So, avoid making these mistakes at all the cost if you want to win the game.
