Best Action Point Recovery Guide for ROK Players
Welcome to our best action point recovery guide for Rise of Kingdoms players. In the game, Action Points basically are the energy that lets you perform various tasks such as killing the barbarians, destroying forts and joining rallies.
Each time you successfully kill neutral units and strongholds, you will get rewards like gems, speedups, resources and more. Action Points are best when you use them during special events like Karuak Ceremony and the Shadow Legion Invasion.
In our action point recovery guide, I am going to teach you how to get more so you can spend more to further advance your empire. Without further ado, here’s how to get more action points in Rise of Kingdoms as a Free-to-Play player.
How to Get More Action Points
You will get to spend your action points everyday. So, you do need to know how to get more as often as you can. In Rise of Kingdoms, you can’t farm as much as you would compared to gathering resources. But you can get more action point recoveries via VIP Shop.
How to Buy Action Point Recovery
Back in the early days, you could buy action point recovery on special deals and you would get chests with some action points on it. Though, Lilith Games decided to remove it from the game.
Now, one of the ways you can do to get more action point recovery is to buy from the VIP Shop. Do keep it in your mind that there’s a limited stock of action points. You only can buy 30 out of 100 AP recovery every week.
The VIP Shop will reset every Monday at 00:00:000 UTC. While you can purchase with food, wood, stone, and even gold, gems are also optional if you don’t have enough resources. But I don’t recommend spending your gems at all because it will cost you time to advance Tier 5 troops fast.
How to Increase Action Point Recovery Rate
Did you know that you can increase your action point recovery rate in Rise of Kingdoms? If you invest your gems into upgrading your VIP Status level. You will get a city-wide buff that increases the resource production, research speed, troop defense, and even how fast you recover action points.
Upgrading your VIP Status level is a great way to recover action points quickly. Not only that you increase your AP recovery rate, but benefit from other buffs like resource production, building speed, troop defense and more.
Here’s several ways to increase your action point recovery rate:
- Upgrade your VIP Status level, the higher it is, the more recovery rate you get.
- Capture and control Holy Sites as Shrine of Radiance gives you 20% more action point recovery rate.
- Pick up orange runes around the altar as they give you 15% more action point recovery rate.
Best Way to Get More Action Points
Lastly, you can get more action points just by being in an alliance. I recommend you to join one of these top alliances (or whale alliances). You will wake up every morning with a boatload of treasures. These chests have a chance to give you action point potions.
It’s a nice way to get free action points just by being in a big spender alliance. So, make sure that you join one of these top alliances on your server. Keep your eyes for big spender alliances because you will get ton, ton and ton of goodies just by being in their alliance.
Though, do your part by being active and contribute to the alliance so that both of you can grow together.
How to Spend Action Points for Event Rewards
In this part of our best action point recovery guide, we will explain how to spend your AP for event rewards. As a general rule of thumb, you should spend your daily action points that you generate. But keep the action point tokens for special events.
Karuak Ceremony and Lohar’s Trial is one of the few events where you need to spend additional action points to reach top 100 ranking. Though, the only time that you need to go full-in is during the Eve of the Crusade event.
This event always happens before the Lost Kingdom starts. By winning Eve of the Crusade event, you will get massive rewards that accelerates your progression of becoming a Tier 5 player. Plus, you get tons of alliances and individual credits.
