She married the ruler and her husband became king, which transformed Palmyra into a super power in the Near East by defeating the Sassanians. During her rulership, she launched an invasion that brought majority of the Roman East under her empire and annexed Egypt.
The Palmyrene Empire extended from Ancyra to central Anatolia to Southern Egypt. Though she remained a subordinate to Rome. In 272 Zenobia declared her son emperor and assumed the title of empress, which led to secession from the Rome. Consequently, the Romans launched an invasion and won the war. Best Zenobia Talent Trees
In this section, we will talk about the best talent builds for Zenobia. There are two viable talent builds to choose from. Although, it depends on your preferred gameplay and current strategy, one of these talent builds might be particularly appealing to you. However, you can always switch to a different talent build at any given time. Below is a list of top 2 best talent builds for Zenobia:
Garrison Talent Tree Build

The Garrison talent tree build is the best pick for Zenobia, it focuses on empowering her defense capabilities and further increases health abilities. Which benefits her a lot because this build also increases the speed of rage generation. This means Zenobia can heal nearby friendly allies and herself more often, which will tire out attackers in the long run. A very good defensive talent tree build to use for protecting your cities and strongholds.
PvP / Field Talent Tree Build

If you want to play Zenobia offensively, then this is the best talent tree build to use. While you will not be defending your city with this build, Zenobia will gain combat effectiveness that increases infantry troops’ attack and defense value. In addition to that, her healing capabilities is enhanced which plays an important role in supporting nearby friendly armies during massive KvK battles.

Best Commander Pairs
There are plenty of good commanders to pair with Zenobia. However, if you are looking for the best of all, this is where you can find all the best secondary commanders to pair. Since Zenobia focuses on infantry build and specializes in healing nearby friendly allies and protecting your city against attackers. You will want to have a commander that delivers serious amount of damage and built-in shield capabilities. Luckily, there are plenty of commanders that you can pair Zenobia with.
Constantine I

Currently, Constantine I is the best defensive commander to pair with Zenobia. He comes with a huge health pool that greatly improves thanks to Zenobia’s 50% health bonus after healing.
Constantine I stands a lot to gain from Zenobia’s expansive health pool, built-in healing capabilities and skills that reduces overall damage taken. If you are looking for a commander that can withstand some of the most powerful attacks.
This is the legendary commander you definitely will want to pair with Zenobia.
Sun Tzu

One of the best epic commanders to pair Zenobia with is Sun Tzu. He comes with a passive skill which increases the effectiveness of active skill by 20%. This benefits Zenobia because that will allow her to heal even more. In addition to that, Sun Tzu brings damage capabilities which is much needed. He can deliver rain of fire, dealing massive damage up to 5 targets.
While Zenobia can hold the front line by healing her own army and provide support to nearby friendly allies in middle of battle. This duo commander pair is awesome to have if you are looking to further improve healing factor and deal splash damage at the same time.
Alexander the Great

One of my personal favorite legendary commander is Alexander the Great. He comes with a massive shield capability that can absorb incoming attacks. His main advantage when it comes to protecting your city against enemy attackers is defense and damage bonus. When the shield is up, gain 30% defense bonus. If the shield is down, gain 40% attack bonus which really helps a lot with lack of damage booster.
Not only Alexander the Great is capable of increasing attack, defense and providing shield — he also supports nearby friendly armies with mini shields. Zenobia already heals friendly allies so why not throw in extra defense to your allied members with shield to increase their survivability on the map? Both are great to pair if you want to get both healing and shield capabilities.
Richard I

Another solid legendary commander to pair with is Richard I. If you want to get additional healing then this is the commander to roll with. Unlike other commanders, Richard I does a great job at reducing up to 5 targets’ attack by 30% and decrease their march speed by 15%. Plus his passive skill increases amount of healing received by 30% and bolsters infantry combat effectiveness by 15%.
Richard I works well with Zenobia’s awesome healing capabilities because of massive damage reduction that he has to offer, Zenobia will be able to withstand heavy blows by healing through them. If you becomes target in PvP battle and it turns into war of attrition, Zenobia and Richard I are amazingly good commander pair to roll with as they can recover through heavy attacks with ease.
Charles Martel

Lastly, Charles Martel is another commander that you also can pair Zenobia with. He increases infantry attack, defense and march speed by 20%. Furthermore, your city’s watchtower gains 10% attack and defense bonus which plays a big role in countering the attackers. One of the prime reason why you will want to pair Charles Martel with Zenobia is because of his shield capabilities.
When the shield is up then both commanders will deal 30% increased damage. Charles Martel brings a total 35% infantry attack and defense bonus which is a big asset in strengthening Zenobia’s combat effectiveness. The watchtower also improves during the battle. While Charles Martel isn’t exactly that strong compared to Richard I, he is still a good choice for the governors who are still working towards Richard I or haven’t max him out yet.
