As I mentioned previously in the introduction section that Korea comes with traits that’s different compared to other civilizations. There’s not that much combat-focused traits. Instead it focuses on offering some recovery net, especially in late game when the troops capacity of commanders exceeds 200,000 more than what hospitals can support.

Trait 1

The first trait gives a 5% defense bonus to archers which is great when you are rolling commanders who specialize in archery like Tomyris, Ramesses II and even Edward of Woodstock. The defense bonus helps provide some protection against incoming damage that makes it harder for the troops to die on the battlefield.

Trait 2

Increases the size of your hospital capacity by 15%. This trait in particular is extremely useful in late game when you start commanding a large troop size of more than 200,000 each dispatch. The improved capacity means you can retain more of the troops instead of having to train new one. Good lifesaver trait.

Trait 3

Accelerates the time to research technologies by 3%. Useful for late game, but worthless when you max out all of the technologies. This is one of the reason why there’s not a lot of players playing as Korea in late game.
